You can use both Location Services/ Apple approved external GPS accessory like Bad Elf and Maps to work with location data in Cellica Database application. A) Using Location Service: Use “Location” control while designing form. Location services use GPS along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations to determine your approximate location/ Apple approved external GPS accessory like Bad Elf (http://bad-elf.com/products/be-gps-1000/).
B)Using Maps to get Location and Address (Requires internet): If you want to view /Get location on MAP (Cellica Database uses Google Map), from TextBox or Location Control then use this option.
Following document lists and explain both scenarios: Using_Location_information_in_Cellica_Database
