Posted by Cellica Support Team on 12 November 2013 10:22 AM

In this tutorial we will see how to set different data access permissions to individual users in Cellica Database application.

You can assign permissions to a user for read-write or just read only data while adding user in “User Manager” module of Cellica Database desktop application.

You can also set access permissions at “Profile Level”.

While adding profile, on “Select User Page”, click on “Sync Back” property. Here you can set record manipulation permissions of the selected user for current profile. You can set “Add/Edit/Delete” record permissions.

Sometimes you just want to synchronize profiles in one way.

For example: Some profiles may updates only on your desktop and some users just need to view it Or You may want to use some profiles for just data collection purpose from some device application.

Also you can set record manipulation permissions of user for any profile after profile creation is completed using “Add/remove Users” option.
